Spring Bird Walk & Tree Tour
Saturday May 20, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.
The Oak Lawn Cemetery Association will host a guided bird walk on its historic grounds on Saturday, May 20 at 8:00 a.m. This tour will once again be conducted by the team of Milan Bull, a bird expert from the Connecticut Audubon Society and our arborist, Don Parrott, from Connecticut Arborists.
Please join us as we walk Oak Lawn’s winding roadways bordering its wetlands, nature preserves and the banks of the Mill River.

The tour will be designed to identify local as well as migratory birds in the area and species of trees that make up their habitat. After your birding experience you are welcome to continue with a self-guided audio walking tree tour of our arboretum which also provides information about some of Fairfield’s historically important citizens and their contributions to Fairfield’s development. This event, open to the public, will meet at the cemetery office located just inside the entrance gate at 1530 Bronson Road in Fairfield.
